Overhaul is made by the community and will only use content which is self-made, available under an permissive licence, or has edits to existing Bioware or Beamdog released content, with the consent of creators. Some content may be commercially purchased with the right licence for project use where the content must stay used within Neverwinter Nights.

The project will be using the licence CC Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). This primarily allows you to use the project and remix it but you need to attribute credit and not charge for it, and if you do share your remixed project put it under the same licence. It should not be used outside of Neverwinter Nights as noted.

  • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit , provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made . You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
  • NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes .
  • ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
  • No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

Since the core of the phenotype work is from Beamdog's HD Pack, the relevant team contributors there are available on the Beamdog HD Pack wiki page and copied here for posterity.
