This is a list of default icons you may/may not want to replace as part of revamps/upgrades/PWs. They're hardcoded as in not referenced in any 2da file, not that they cannot be altered.
For more information on icons see: Icons.
Directly Hardcoded
Note: You can override TGA files with DDS. For ease of searching the full file name is provided to find the default file if you want to replace it.
| Icon File Name | Default Size | Description and Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ir_cantrips.tga | 32x32 | Cantrips (level 0) spell GUI icon, radials / spellbooks |
ir_level1.tga ir_level2.tga ir_level3.tga ir_level4.tga ir_level5.tga ir_level6.tga ir_level789.tga | 32x32 | Spells of level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and then 7/8/9 in one. The game always puts all 7/8/9 spells together in radials and spellbook. Note ir_level789.tga is annoying because levels 7, 8 and 9 have separate selections in the spellbook itself (in the radial it does, perhaps predictably, make sense to limit it to 8 options for levels of spells). |
ir_empower.tga ir_extend.tga ir_maximize.tga ir_quicken.tga ir_silent.tga ir_still.tga | 32x32 | In spite of metamagic.2da existing, metamagic icons are hardcoded since there is no apparent reference in any 2da file to icons shown in spellbooks. The feat icons are used for levelup and the character sheet (and also when you click on the ? help icon surprisingly). Why the feat icon isn't automatically used? Who knows. What is surprising is you could replace them individually - the actual icons are all identical for some reason. The tiny icons in the bottom left of the spell icon are weird and I've not figured out where they come from (they're yellow but not these icons made miniature!) |
