This is the old "Champion of Torm" which is an odd choice Bioware/Wizards did to rename the class given there are absolutely no Torm based restrictions besides the alignment. Maybe because Blackguard was added this was restricted to Good characters?

Overhaul Changes

  • Rename to Divine Champion there is no reason to tie it solely to Fearun classes or a specific god at all, not sure why Bioware did that. Can relax the restrictions on alignment then
  • Class is pretty powerful already due to it's reach into Epic levels so probably doesn't need any other major tweaks - but added Dirty Fighting from the Fighter bonus feat list (since it's essentially the same).

Any changes to the Fighter bonus feat list will get replicated to this class.

Overhaul Description

(PRESTIGE CLASS)
Divine Champions are mighty warriors who dedicate themselves to their gods cause, defending holy ground, destroying enemies of the church, and slaying mythical beasts.

- Hit Die: d10.
- Proficiencies: All simple and martial weapons, light and medium armor, and shields.
- Skill Points: 2 + Int Modifier.
- Class Skills: Craft Armor, Craft Trap, Craft Weapon, Discipline, Heal, Lore, Parry, Ride, Spot.
- Primary saving throw(s): Fortitude, Reflex.
- Base attack bonus: High (+1 per level).

REQUIREMENTS:

Base Attack Bonus: +7
Feats: Weapon Focus

ABILITIES:

Level
1: Lay on Hands - Can heal damage equal to class level multiplied by their Charisma modifier,  deals damage to undead creatures
2: Sacred Defense  - +1 to all saving throws.
 Bonus Feat: The divine champion may choose a bonus feat from this list: Ambidexterity, Armor Proficiency (Heavy), Blind Fight, Called Shot, Cleave, Deflect Arrows, Dirty Fighting, Disarm, Dodge, Expertise, Great Cleave, Improved Critical, Improved Disarm, Improved Expertise, Improved Knockdown, Improved Parry, Improved Power Attack, Improved Two-weapon Fighting, Improved Unarmed Strike, Knockdown, Mobility, Point Blank Shot, Power Attack, Rapid Shot, Sap, Spring Attack, Stunning Fist, Two-weapon Fighting, Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus, Weapon Proficiency (exotic), Whirlwind Attack
3: Smite Evil -  Once per day may add Charisma bonus to attack roll and do +1 point of damage per level of Champion and Paladin.
4: Sacred Defense  - +2 to all saving throws.
 Bonus Feat
5: Divine Wrath - Once per day +3 to attack, damage and saving throws and Damage Reduction +1/5 for a number of rounds equal to Charisma bonus.

6: Sacred Defense  - +3 to all saving throws.
8: Sacred Defense  - +4 to all saving throws.

10: Sacred Defense  - +5 to all saving throws.

EPIC LEVELS:

The Epic Divine Champion is guided by her chosen god on her life journey. She has ascended through the ranks of holy warriors to become a symbol of her gods might.

Hit Die: d10.
Skill Points at Each Additional Level: 2 + Int Modifier.
Bonus Feats: The epic divine champion gains a bonus feat every four levels.
Special:
 Sacred Defense: Saving throws continue to improve by +1 for every 2 levels.
 Divine Wrath: Every five levels the attack, damage and saving throw bonuses increases by a further +2.

Automatic Quicken Spell, Automatic Silence Spell, Automatic Still Spell, Armor Skin, Epic Damage Reduction, Epic Prowess, Devastating Critical, Epic Toughness, Epic Weapon Focus, Great Wisdom, Greater Smiting, Improved Combat Casting, Improved Stunning Fist, Improved Whirlwind Attack, Overwhelming Critical, Planar Turning, Epic Spell Focus, Epic Spell Penetration, Superior Initiative.
