Note: When using ANY texture with transparency (i.e. an alpha channel), you need to specify the “alphamean” parameter as well. Failure to do so will result in significantly decreased frame rates. I typically use “alphamean 0.99” for this parameterThe TXI files used with the TTR rural tileset are a good reference for certain types of textures.
Texture Specific Fields
These fields are applied to the texture being read in. Some are specific to different types of textures (like bump maps) and will be ignored if the TXI belongs to a texture which is not of the same type. I will try to document these cases.
