This is a quick list of information about tilesets now included in NWN and NWN:EE. These are base game tilesets - for creating custom new ones see the Tilesets page.
To convert an existing tileset with a facelift version use the tutorials on the Area page.
Some more in depth info may be added later, for now Fandom wiki has some on what is included in each tileset.
Note: The changelogs listed here may be incomplete. Read the latest Beamdog patch notes if you want the full information!
NWN Tileset Information
These are included in 1.69.
Base tileset references are usually 3 letters with 2 numbers after. The shortness is to help model names (which are limited to 16 total characters). The default Bioware naming convention appears to be:
- Tileset - t
- Category - eg; "d" for dungeon, "i" for interior, "m" for microset and "t" for tileset, among others
- Identifier - eg; "s" for Sewers or "e" for "evil dungeon", although many use the 2nd and 3rd characters for an identifier (eg; tbw01)

NWN:EE Tileset Information
These tilesets do not exist in the 1.69 version of the game and were added in NWN:EE.
| Tileset Human Name | Tileset Reference | Upgrades? | Upgrade Notes | NWN:EE Changelog | Description and Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lizardfolk Interior | dag01 | 8393.15: Added | Darkness over Daggerford microset | ||
| Medieval City 2 | tcm02 | tcm01 from the Vault | Replacing the vault tileset, there is no round temple 3x3. You can get the temple as a placeable if you need it. It couldn't be in the tileset, because it is based on a temple from NWN 2. | 8393.15: Added | Crafted by Zwerkules |
| Medieval Rural 2 | trm02 | trm01 from the Vault | Set entry wise they should be exactly the same, so simply replacing med 1 by med 2 should work. The only difference is the windmill which has a completely different walkmesh and you have to do some edits in your area if you used that. Otherwise it is all the same. It is also possible that the windmill has one door less, but that should only mean you get an extra floating door somewhere. | 8393.15: Added | Crafted by Zwerkules |
| Early Winter 2 | trs02 | trs01 from the Vault | 8393.15: Added | Crafted by Zwerkules. Noted as "Mountain Snow" in patch notes? | |
| Forest - Facelift | ttf02 | ttf01 (Forest) | 8393.15: Added | Crafted by Zwerkules | |
| Rural Winter - Facelift | tts02 | tts01 (Rural Winter) | 8393.15: Added | Crafted by Zwerkules | |
| Sea Ships | tss13 | 8393.15: Added | Darkness over Daggerford microset |
