These items have remnants in the game that may be usable by modders, or just fun to know about.

Bag, Small Box, "Spell Scroll"

Early version of the Bag / container approach, line 67 with identifier it_bag. The model is still used by the game but you've probably never seen the icon.

The Small Box is line 23, it_sbox. Nothing other than an inventory icon.

Scrolls are from line 54, it_spscroll - similar to the line 75 "it_scroll" has a green and orange parchment colour variants for some reason.

Repeating Crossbow

This looks to be a complete Repeating Crossbow, prefixed WBwXr and was on line 30.

There seems to be no direct dialog.tlk line except the description. However it points out it basically is as 3E and is a slightly less strong Heavy Crossbow, which has the benefit of allowing multiple attacks per round (although how the "clip of bolts" would work in NWN may be why it was not included).

TLK EntryContentsDescription and Notes
1706The repeating crossbow is a wonder of engineering, allowing the bearer to attack without the need to reload after each bolt is fired. However, replacing a clip of bolts takes a significant amount of time.Below Shuriken and above Wands, same as the baseitems.2da line ref.

The model files and icons available are a lot more complete then the Nunchaku or Gauntlet.

Composite Longbow

The Composite Longbow (wbwlc) appears to have been dropped like the Repeater Crossbow, and models left unused (they even made HotU black "adamantium" versions).

The item property was added to normal longbows instead (their model reference is wbwln or "Longbow - Normal" presumably). The models and icons remain. The icons certainly look quite impressive and models are not bad either!

Note however while the game doesn't use the weapon, the model wbwlc_t_011.mdl contains some animations used in other weapons.

The main related TLK line (beyond the ones used to title weapons which are "Composite Longbow +3" or similar) is this one, which appears in a block of lines used for the generic item descriptions alongside the normal Longbow.

TLK IDText
1698The composite longbow is the culmination of the bowyer's craft, combining multiple types of material within the bow's stave to greatly increase range and force of impact.

There appears to be no remnants of the item in baseitems.2da unlike the repeater crossbow.

Nunchaku

This looks to be a completely modelled Nunchaku monk weapon, prefixed WSpNn and was on line 48.

Likely there are no animations however, and there are very few icons - although from the fact XP2 bifs have icons implies there was (at some point in the past) icons for all the models. Alas we never got Bruce Lee monks in NWN!

Edit 2021: The icons for the missing weapon models are in the beta toolset files, PNGs copied in below.

Gauntlet

Not in baseitems.2da anymore but has the prefix "wspga" - this puts it in the same namespace as exotic Monk weapons so gauntlets might have been the precursor of having Gauntlets and Bracers be the "unarmed monk" bonus weapons.

The item has proper inventory icons but in-game models are pretty much entirely incomplete.

It might be "Gauntlets" were meant for the normal weapon slots since they are 2x2 similar to other monk weapons that share a similar prefix, and look like fist replacement weapons.

The model looks like it was...possibly...intended to actually replace the "hand" model of who equips it. Or perhaps overlay on it. Hard to tell. Obviously it's there as an artists quick rendering.
